The permit authorizes operation of an industrial solid waste storage, processing, and disposal facility for the management of hazardous and Class I, Class II, Class III non-hazardous industrial solid waste. The compliance plan authorizes corrective action and ground-water monitoring at the facility. The permit/compliance plan modifications authorize the following: (1) removal of the Filter Slurry Pond from the corrective action and ground-water monitoring requirements of the compliance plan to the post-closure care detection monitoring program of the permit; and (2) updates concerning frequency of ground-water monitoring, replacement of three ground-water recovery wells, and addition of a fourth ground-water recovery well. The facility is located on approximately 2,500 acres adjacent to State Highway Spur 119, approximately 2 miles north of the City of Borger in Hutchinson County, Texas. (Kari Bourland)
