Arroyo Colorado watershed

The Arroyo Colorado Watershed Steering Committee is a voluntary group that advises the TMDL Program regarding the development of a watershed protection plan that will include a TMDL for dissolved oxygen in Arroyo Colorado Tidal (Segment 2201).

About the Advisory Group

The TCEQ worked with interested stakeholders to form a group that has balanced representation from government, permitted facilities, agriculture, business, environmental, and community interests in the Arroyo Colorado watershed. Anyone who is interested may attend meetings of this advisory group. Time is set aside at each meeting for questions and comments from all stakeholders in attendance.

Stakeholders in the Arroyo Colorado have formed the Arroyo Colorado Watershed Partnership to promote and implement the watershed protection plan. Their Web site also reports studies and activities of the Steering Committee and its work groups.

Scheduled Meetings

No meetings are currently scheduled. See the individual Work Group pages for their meetings.
