The TMDL Program sets targets for improving the quality of
surface waters and develops implementation plans (I-Plans) to
achieve them. Check here for information about stakeholder
meetings, opportunities to comment on proposed TMDLs or
implementation plans (I-Plans), and requests for proposals on
project contracts.
I-Plan Approved by the
Commission
On July 9, 2008, the commission approved the
I-Plan for Lake O’ the Pines. With the addition of this
plan, the TCEQ’s TMDL Program has completed 18 I-Plans to
remedy 61 impairments in 35 surface waters.
