The TMDL Program sets targets for improving the quality of surface waters and develops implementation plans (I-Plans) to achieve them.

I-Plan Approved

On July 9, 2008, the commission approved the I-Plan for the TMDL project One TMDL for Dissolved Oxygen in Lake O’ the Pines. With the addition of this plan, the TCEQ’s TMDL Program has completed 18 I-Plans to remedy 61 impairments in 35 surface waters.

Public comment closed on July 5, 2008, on the TMDLs for the projects listed below. Responses to public comments will be posted on the project Web pages when they are completed.
