TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $232,929

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $125,332 against 16 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one air quality, one industrial hazardous waste, one industrial wastewater discharge, one municipal solid waste, one municipal wastewater discharge, four petroleum storage tank, four public water system, and two water quality.

A default order was issued in the following enforcement category: one landscape irrigator.

In addition, on March 7, the executive director approved a total of 44 penalties, totaling $107,597.
