Water Quality Advisory Work Group

The WQAWG is open to the public. Anyone who is interested in water quality may attend and participate in WQAWG meetings.

The Water Quality Advisory Work Group (WQAWG) is a voluntary group of participants who meet quarterly to discuss issues related to water quality, wastewater permits, wastewater standards,

Participating in the WQAWG

This group currently has representation from water associations, petroleum and chemical industry, electrical utility industry, agricultural industry, engineering firms, law firms, environmental organizations, consumer groups, and government entities.

Upcoming Meetings

The most recent meeting of the Water Qualigty Advisory Work Group was held July 22, 2008. The date of the next meeting will be announced later.

Summaries and Handouts from Recent Meetings

A special joint meeting of the stakeholders from the Water Quality Advisory Work Group and the Water Rights Advisory Work Group was held November 12, 2007. See the petition for details on the request for rulemaking.
